Dragon Island, Qinhuangdao

In mid-2011, TERROIR, in association with Melbourne practice Minifie van Schaik, were engaged under RMIT University’s Master Research Services Agreement with Tianjin for the development of the concept design for a Super Yacht City at Qinhuangdao, China, prepared in early 2011. 

TERROIR were responsible for the development of Dragon Island, a 45hectare island covering a 95ha sea area, with cultural centre, cruise ship terminal, yacht club, hotel and a range of accommodation types.
