David graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney in 2016 and gained experience in design and documentation working with benn&penna in the residential alterations and additions sector. David joined TERROIR as a graduate architect in 2017.
David’s interest in architecture stems from its ability to engage, provoke and shape notions of identity, as individuals and as communities. In 2016 as part of a joint venture between Sydney and Auckland Universities, David was awarded the Hezlet Traveling Scholarship and travelled to the Venice Biennale to exhibit his work as part of a series of models and essays in the Zoon Politikon exhibit.
David has a strong interest in digital technologies and the way they open up new possibilities in architectural design. His experience in digital design and Grasshopper scripting (including being shortlisted for the AIA Digital Innovation Award) makes him a valued member of the TERROIR team.
