Gender Equity at TERROIR

August 19 was Equal Pay Day in Australia, a depressing reminder that women have to work an extra 50 days to equate to what men earn in the previous financial year.

To mark the occasion, the Australian Institute of Architects featured TERROIR who, at the time of writing, are the only medium-sized or large practice in Australia with a positive gender pay gap.  Not only that, our pay gaps are resoundingly positive, with a 17% average pay gap and 30% median pay gap.

We can be proud of our achievement, but it was a bittersweet realisation that the profession as a whole still has a long way to go.
