TERROIR to take part of UIA23 World Congress Copenhagen

In collaboration with the Danish Plastic Association, TERROIR has won the open call to build a “pavilion for the future”.  Working with the Danish Plastics Association, the “Planetary Plastic Pavilion” will be situated on the harbor of Copenhagen before, during and after the UIA23 World Congress, and is set to challenge boundaries for the sustainable use of plastic. In asking “how can plastic take part in the transformation towards a sustainable future?” TERROIR will examine the potentials of using reused and recycled plastic as building components.

The Planetary Plastic Pavilion will be on show during UIA23 World Congress of Architects from June – September 2023 in Copenhagen.

The Open Call was issued by four of the most important organisations in the danish building profession – The Danish Architectural Association, Københavns Kommune (Municipality of Copenhagen), By&Havn and UIA23 – and provides TERROIR with the necessary platform to discuss questions regarding the role of architecture in the future.
