TERROIR was founded on an interest in how communities work with complex spatial, cultural and economic problems, particularly in sensitive or strategically important sites. Working with Government on spatial strategy projects is therefore fundamental to the contribution we make to society. Central to this work is our ability to encourage consensus-building between a diverse set of participants. This is achieved through our expertise in making conflicts and synergies visible, through diagrams, so that large teams can see what is at stake when different decisions are made. Key decisions are then rigorously mapped both in spatial terms and policy terms so that Government can deliver an integrated and consistent outcome.
