Tom joined TERROIR's Sydney office in 2017 to start a key role on the documentation team for the new Penguin Parade Visitor Centre at Phillip Island.
Tom came to TERROIR having just completed a research project exploring the concept of 'Compact Living' in the context of Sydney's housing affordability crisis. The project was supported by the NSW ARB's Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship, and showcases alternative housing models from Tokyo, London, Berlin, and New York.
In 5 years of professional practice, Tom has gained experience across a variety of project typologies and scales. He joins TERROIR to further develop his skill-set as a young architect, in the hope of venturing beyond the design of buildings and becoming exposed to the role architecture must play in developing urban strategies for Sydney.
Tom completed the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Sydney in 2013, which included a semester abroad at the University of Arizona.
